Mālama ‘Ohana Working Group
Mālama ʻOhana working group is housed in the Office of Wellness and Resilience.
The working group is tasked to seek, design, and recommend transformative changes to the State's existing child welfare system.
The working group will hold listening sessions throughout the state to bring community voice and community partners together to improve and transform the child welfare system.

Office of Wellness and Resilience (OWR)
The Office of Wellness and Resilience (OWR) is the first of its kind in the nation.
OWR is a good partner for Mālama ʻOhana as the Office is committed to creating a trauma-informed state that will better serve our families, improve community health and wellness outcomes.
The issues of trauma and being trauma effective are at the core of the issues faced by the families and children in the child welfare system, and also by many workers in the system.
The members of the Mālama ʻOhana working group bring together child welfare services and community service organizations with those they serve.
